Estimates, invoices, and how we work together on your website project.
A 25% deposit secures your start date and covers initial research, planning, and setup for your website. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of a client-initiated cancellation.
If the project is cancelled after significant milestones have been reached, the client may be invoiced for the value of work completed beyond the initial deposit, calculated at the company’s standard hourly rate.
The remaining balance on your invoice is due before the website is officially launched or transferred to your ownership.
By paying your deposit, signing an estimate, or confirming your project via email, you agree to these terms. We are excited to work with you!
Any estimate provided by Framework 807 is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue.
The scope of work is strictly limited to the items defined in the estimate. Any additional features, pages, or revisions requested outside the original scope will be billed as a custom package or at an additional hourly rate, as agreed by both parties.
Framework 807 reserves the right to adjust the estimate if the client changes the project specifications after work has commenced.
To get your project on the calendar, we require a 25% deposit. This locks in your start date so we can begin design and planning right away and is non-refundable in the event of a client-initiated cancellation.
The final balance is due before the site goes live. The 25% deposit remains non-refundable.
Payments shall be made via the methods specified on the invoice (for example e-Transfer, credit card, or direct deposit).
Invoices not paid within seven (7) days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 2% per month on the outstanding balance. Framework 807 reserves the right to suspend SEO services or take down a live website if an invoice remains unpaid for more than thirty (30) days.
The initial deposit covers administrative costs, research, planning, and the reservation of production time. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of a client-initiated cancellation.
If the client cancels the project after work has commenced, Framework 807 shall retain the initial deposit in full.
If the project is cancelled after significant milestones have been reached, the client may be invoiced for the value of work completed beyond the initial deposit, calculated at the company’s standard hourly rate.
The client is responsible for providing all necessary text, images, and branding assets required to complete the project. Delays in providing content will result in a corresponding delay in the project timeline.
The client must review and provide feedback on drafts in a timely manner. Failure to provide feedback within ten (10) business days may result in the project being moved to on-hold status, and a restart fee may apply.
Upon receipt of final payment in full, legal ownership of the website design and its custom content is transferred to the client.
Framework 807 reserves the right to include a small “Designed by Framework 807” link in the footer of the website and to showcase the project in the company’s portfolio for promotional purposes.
Any third-party software, fonts, or stock imagery used remains the property of their respective owners and is subject to their licensing terms.
Framework 807 provides a satisfaction guarantee. We will ensure the website functions as described in the estimate at the time of launch.
While Framework 807 uses industry best practices for SEO, the client acknowledges that search engine rankings are influenced by third-party algorithms and competition. Specific rankings or traffic volumes cannot be guaranteed.
Framework 807 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profit) arising out of the use of the website or SEO services.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be settled in the jurisdiction of Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Acceptance of an estimate via email, signature, or payment of a deposit constitutes a binding agreement to these terms and conditions.
